Come, little children, gather ‘round
please listen up, don’t make a sound
while I tell you about a clown
who wasn't what he seemed.
He terrorized a tiny town,
his horrid deeds were world renowned.
He kidnapped kids— their hands, he bound;
then laughed as they all screamed.
His pointy grin shone all around—
a bright red grimace, upside down,
an evil, vicious, painted frown
he brandished as he schemed.
Police detectives tracked him down,
were mortified by what they found,
for buried deep, beneath the ground,
more victims than they’d dreamed.
So, if you have a fear of clowns—
sheer terror in your heart abounds—
your mind may be a breeding ground
for horrors such as these.
